The Ant Hole is a legacy mob in florr.io. It spawns up to four different types of Ants when attacked.
Appearance[]
Three concentric circles, with the innermost being dark brown, the next one being a bit lighter, and the outermost being the lightest.
Stats & Behavior[]
Speed: Stationary.
Behavior: Upon Ant Holes spawning, three Baby Ants, two Worker Ants, and a Soldier Ant spawn around it. When attacked, more ants come out, those being five Baby Ants, eight Worker Ants, 26 Soldier Ants and one Queen Ant the same rarity of the Ant Hole, in total. The Queen Ant comes out when the Ant Hole is low on health. Baby Ants and Worker Ants tend to come out before Soldiers. When attacked, all Worker Ants that are part of the Ant Hole become Aggressive. This applies to all rarities of the Ant Hole.

Strategy[]
- Be careful when attacking higher rarity variants, since they can spawn lots of ants that can easily overwhelm you. In particular, the Queen Ant can deal significant damage.
- After the Queen Ant spawns, the Ant Hole is low on health. Notice how 5 to 10 more Soldier Ants will come out of the hole.
- Irises are great for lower rarity Ant Holes. Try to hit the Ant Hole with the Iris and move away while the Ant Hole is taking damage.
- However, high damage petals (like Stinger) and high durability petals (like Rock, Heavy and Corn) can cause more ants to come out at once, so take extra caution when you have these petals.
Super Ant Hole[]
- In Garden, the main danger when fighting a Super mob is not the actual mob, but the many Ultra mobs that spawn around the mob. When bubbling to the mob, it is advised to use Sponge and multiple Ultra healing petals, and have a Lotus equipped in case a Spider hits you. It is also advised to use Sponge when actually fighting the mob so you don't die if anything hits you.
- If the mob spawns deep in Garden, it is advised to form a "megasquad", where a large group of players stay near each other and clear mobs. This increases the chance for everyone to survive.
- Going to a Super Ant Hole is not advised unless you have over 200k dps, as it is one of the most sought after Super mobs. It has around 1 billion health, so you will need to deal 10 million damage to even have a chance of getting loot.
- Avoid staying in corners as the Queen Ant that spawns may pin you to the wall.
Trivia[]
- The Ant Hole has the most health out of any mob. With Unique Ant Hole having almost 15 billion health.
- Ant Holes, Fire Ant Burrows, Termite Mounds, Queen Ants, Queen Fire Ants and the 3 types of Ant Eggs are the only mobs that can spawn other mobs at Mythic- rarities.
- Before January 19th 2023, the insides of Rare+ Ant Holes were circular and while the Queen Ant matched the Ant Hole's rarity, the other Ants were always Rare.
- After January 19th 2023 until an unknown date, Every rarity of Ant Hole you could enter had the exact same map (old Rare, current Epic Ant Hole map).
- On an unknown date, the insides of Rare+ Ant Holes were shifted forward by one rarity, resulting in a completely new, albeit tiny map for the Rare Ant Hole. Along with the absurdly huge Mythic Ant Hole map being replaced with the old Legendary Ant hole's map, making it unused until December 12th 2023 when M28 Spawned a Super Ant Hole and eventually on January 5th 2024 when Ultra and Super ant holes were able to spawn naturally the same map was used with more connections.
- On January 5th 2024, Ultra and Super spawning changed allowing Ultra/Super Ant Holes to spawn naturally.
- On April 29, 2024, all rarities of ant holes can now be attacked. This means that mobs that were inside will come out as it was for Common and Unusual ant holes before this change, but it now no longer depends on the rarity.
- Because of this, they now deal damage on direct contact.
