Nazar Beetles are rare variants of Beetles in florr.io that spawn in Desert.

Appearance

Nazar Beetles have a body which is reminiscent of the Nazar Amulet petal and has the Beetle's pincers. The eye on their back constantly changes in size. They have blue, slightly square bodies and the Nazar pattern spins in place. They just look like this emoji: 🧿

Strategy

These act exactly the same as regular Beetles (with the only differences having a different look and only aggroed when attacked), so you could use the same strategies.

The strategy for dealing with them is completely different compared to normal beetles. Because they are neutral, bulb is recommended to lure them to you.

Beware though as other players could rush and kill them, just like Shiny Ladybugs.

Trivia

• Nazar Beetles used to look like Beetles with a golden recolor, much like Desert Ladybug, but it was changed to the current appearance later in the day it was added to be more noticeable and to reduce confusion with player-spawned Beetles.
• Nazar Beetles are the only mob that can skip rarities in their drops.
• In an unknown date, Nazar Beetles spawn rate was increased significantly as obtaining any rarity Nazar Amulet higher than Legendary was nearly impossible.
• A Super Nazar Beetle spawned naturally on February 9th, 2024 around 5:50 PM (Greenwich Meridian Time).
