Not to be confused with the other variations.
The Centipede is a mob in florr.io added on January 25, 2020, during legacy days. They are made of many different segments that are connected to each other.
Appearance[]
Body: Body segments consist of a green circle with a slightly darker outline. On opposites sides of the circle, the tips of two small, black circles show, representing legs. The segment moves perpendicular to the direction the legs are oriented.
Head: Exactly like the body, but has two antennae that point in the direction it's moving. The antennae consist of a small, curved, black line with a small, black circle at the end. The antennae appear on both sides of the head and point away from the center.
Stats & Behavior[]
- Speed:: Slow. Epic+ Centipedes can be provoked and will start chasing a flower with normal speed.
- Behavior: All segments move forward with the front-most segment, and the front-most segment moves randomly while remaining passive. The centipede can collide with itself, meaning it can tangle up in the process. The centipede can collide with itself, thus tangling it and its segments until it turns away or the segments are killed. If a middle segment is destroyed, the front most segment in the new set of segments becomes a head (though it still looks like a body segment).

Strategy[]
- If it has Epic+ rarity: use high damage petals and/or use Lightning to damage its segments. It's not a mob to underestimate, so take it carefully and flee if you need to.
- If it is an Rare-: treat it like any other lower rarity mob, no need to fret about it as it's passive. However, they're still nuisances when running away from other mobs, specially if it's a Massive Centipede.
Super Centipede[]
- In Garden, the main danger when fighting a Super mob is not the actual mob, but the many Ultra mobs that spawn around the mob. When bubbling to the mob, it is advised to use Sponge and multiple Ultra healing petals, and have a Lotus equipped in case a Spider hits you. It is also advised to use Sponge when actually fighting the mob so you don't die if anything hits you.
- If the mob spawns deep in Garden, it is advised to form a "megasquad", where a large group of players stay near each other and clear mobs. This increases the chance for everyone to survive.
- To get loot from as many segments as possible, high rarity Lightning is required.
- If you have batteries but don't have much lightning, using Rare Ant Eggs, Relic, and high rarity Batteries may also get loot. However, this is more unreliable and may be risky because you will take damage.

Trivia[]
- The Massive Centipede was added on February 1, 2020.
- Each time its body segment is destroyed, it changes direction where it is going. It works the same with Desert Centipedes.
- The Centipede has an evil counterpart that also originates from legacy florr, named Evil Centipede. Desert Centipede was added in Waves, while the Hel Centipede was added in the Hel update.
- Only the head segment showed the centipede's rarity and health until another update.
- Due to another update, the centipede now has all segments showing the same rarity and health, so now you can tell the health on each segment separately.
