Claw is a petal from florr.io. Its function is to deal extra damage if the victim has more than 80% of their HP. Claw is dropped by Crabs.
Appearance[]
This looks almost exactly like a claw the Crab itself has: a claw-shaped petal with a dark maroon color and an even darker outline.

Claw differs from the other petals in that it will deal 20x its normal damage when the entity hit has 80% or more HP remaining. This could lead to insta-kills, multi-bonus hits or a bonus hit alongside normal hits. Bonus hits will deal 20x the damage of a normal hit. Bonus hits will be half as effective against enemy flowers.

Strategy[]
- Unlike most petals, the Claw has more offensive value than defensive initially: try to damage mobs until it's clear that it has already lost more than 20% of its HP (by checking the health bar, this is not that hard). After that, its best to either switch this petal with a better one (like Stinger), or use this like a normal petal, defending yourself against projectiles and such
- Avoid using Claw with Bur, as the Armor debuff has no effect on the Bonus Damage of Claw.
Garden
- As stated before, try to damage Hornets directly until the Claw can't do bonus hits. After that, change this petal or defend yourself against their missiles.
- It is also good to fend off multiple mobs clustering at you, eliminating Ant Holes and Centipedes, or dealing with a Spider attack easier than normal.
- Super Claw is strong enough to instantly kill every Mythic mob in Garden (except for Ant Holes), which made it the best possible choice for the old Centralia Maze. While those are far from being the greatest threat in Spiral nowadays, it can prevent them from becoming a horde.
Desert
- This is objectively the same as Garden: try to prioritize attacking Scorpions before focusing on blocking their stingers. This will help killing them faster.
- Desert Centipedes and Fire Ant Burrows will serve the same purpose as their Garden counterparts, as well as Beetles being "Desert Spiders".
- If you aren't cautious, this will serve no purpose against Sandstorms as their high body damage will mean instant death to you in almost all cases. Even if you survive, try to switch out the Claw after the bonus hits do the job.
- Using the Claw will speed up the early moments of fighting a high-rarity Cactus.
Ocean
- Claw is quite effective against Shells, as the Bonus Damage bypasses most of the Armor.
- Claw is also helpful when dealing with Jellyfish and Leeches before they get dangerously close to killing you.
- Against other mobs, Claws will help you kill them quicker in general.
Ant Hell
- Because this zone is generally easier than the rest, Claw is not generally needed here. It can still can help you against swarms, aiding against Queen Ants and Termite Overminds.
Jungle
- Against Mantises and Wasps, damage them before deflecting their projectiles. Against Dark Ladybugs, Evil Centipedes and Fireflies, Claw will help you kill them faster.
- Claw hard-counters Leafbug's Armor, especially at higher rarities, not only quickly depleting their HP but also bypassing most of the Armor damage reduction on Bonus Damage hits.
Sewers
- Just like Fireflies, Flies and Moths will be obliterated in no time.
- Claw is amazing at dealing with Roaches, as their movement speed is proportional to their health. Claws can quickly reduce the health of Roaches, slowing down Roaches significantly.
Hel
- Against mobs, attacking Hel Wasps retain the strategy from normal Hornets, while Hel Beetles, Hel Centipedes and Hel Spiders will be treated the same as their normal counterparts. Even then, Claw is pretty weak here overall. Enemy players can be killed in one hit by an Ultra+ Claw if they are at full health and are using no petals that boost their HP. Sponge users can receive multiple Claw hits with Bonus Damage applied. Ultra+ Claw is also able to instantly destroy most petals, with a notable exception being Stinger.
Against[]
- This petal is weaker when you have less than 80% HP left, although this isn't recommended as you generally want to have full HP to increase survivability.
- Claw users will most likely try to kill the mobs surrounding it instead of killing players. But beware of aggroing any mobs the Claw user may have before killing them.
- An important thing to note is how Starfish perfectly counters this petal, as it only heals the user up to 75% of its maximum HP.
- High density petals like Bone and Rock or multiplied petals like Sand and Stinger(M+) can easily kill Claw before Claw reach and damage you.

Trivia[]
- Claw used to be the only petal to decrease the amount of damage depending on the victim's remaining health, thus, its damage was inconsistent. Claw was the only petal to have inconsistent damage outputs.
- At some point, Claw was updated to deal 20x more damage on victims above 80% HP, instead of varying damages based on the victim's current HP%. This was because it used to heavily outclass Stinger and virtually every petal. This is the only petal that deals different damage based on a mob's HP.
- Before the Mythic petal rework, Mythic Claw used to be a 3-in-1 petal forming a tornado shape.
