Magic Cotton is a magic petal from florr.io. Its function consists of absorbing damage taken by the flower. Magic Cotton is dropped by Bush, so long as you have Mana Orb equipped.

Appearance[]

Magic Cotton is a recolored version of Cotton, tinted blue instead of white.

Function[]

Petal Stats
Rarity Obtainable? Damage Absorption
Common Yes 0.2/mana
Unusual 0.5/mana
Rare 0.8/mana
Epic 1/mana
Legendary 1.2/mana
Mythic 1.5/mana

Magic Cotton absorbs damage based on the user's mana. For example, if you have Mythic Magic Cotton and 4,000 mana and take 8,000 damage, it will be reduced by (1.5 x 4,000) damage, so you only take 2,000 damage.

Obtainment[]

This is a magic petal, meaning you are required to equip Mana Orb to obtain it. It will replace the drop of Cotton.

Strategies[]

  • While using magic cotton is not helpful without mana generation (given), times where it can be used are either when magic bubbling or when farming magic petals with orb equipped.
  • As magic bubbles do not consume huge mana, having the cotton can also keep the powder alive (assuming you use one).
  • Using magic cotton is useful in generally increasing survivability, and I it can both be used with or without sponge.
  • Below all of the zone-specific strategies, don't forget to include specific mob interactions/zone appearances where this petal thrives/loses utility.

Obtaining[]

  • Magic Cotton can only be dropped by Cotton with an Mana Orb equipped, so if you have a L+ Orb and good dps, you can get lots of Magic Cotton.

PvP: Using[]

  • Strategies exclusively for fighting players while you're using this petal. It can be either in Hel or in other places (if one of the fighters is using Corruption).
  • PvP stands for Player versus Player, which is self-explanatory. Strategies here must include synergies with the petal to combat other players, and MUST NOT include petals fighting mobs in Hel.
