Disc is a petal from florr.io that was released on January 10th 2024. While you're using this petal, it reduces all collision damage received by a certain percentage. The Disc is dropped by Fire Ant Burrows upon all Soldier Fire Ants that have spawned from it being destroyed.
Appearance[]
The Disc looks like a large, thick and black ring, similar to the Naked skin in digdig.io, except the Disc's line appears to be thicker. Disc will also make Cutter larger when both are equipped at the same time.

Strategy[]
- The Disc's most reliable place to be used is in ram builds: it allows you to take less damage, letting you land more hits on mobs before having to retreat and heal. Pairing this with Basil and passive heals can possibly outheal most enemies, with Cutter will give you more body damage per hit while you take less damage, while this and Cactus will give you more HP to let you deal more hits, and finally, this and Cutter will further decrease the amount of hits you need to land in order to kill a mob.
- Disc can also work well with Relic, Root and Shell. Relic will further spread damage taken if other mobs are nearby, or use Ant Eggs with this and Relic instead to share damage taken with the spawned Soldier Termites. Root will give you armor while you're in the defensive state, allowing you to take an even smaller amount of damage per ram. Shell will give you a shield meter for you to hit even more times.
- Another great petal for using alongside Disc is Salt, as you'll take damage from the enemy entity while dealing damage to them, thus Salt will reflect some percentage of the damage taken to you back to the enemy, further damaging them.
- Using this with Amulet is pretty bad, since constantly ramming enemies will usually destroy your burst heals like Rose, meaning Amulet won't have time to shield you like the Shell does. To heal yourself after ramming, use Basil with passive heals like the Leaf.
Garden
- Spiders will oftentimes ram you if you're not careful, as well as Bees and specially Bumble Bees.
- Another viable strategy is constantly ramming a Ladybug, escaping its hitbox, healing and then going back to ramming. It's preferred to go into DPS mode for higher rarities, though.
- This is also viable when fighting Centipedes, as you'll ram your way into destroying all of its segments.
- Using this against lower rarity Ant Holes will let you shred through it and all of the spawned Ants.
Desert
- Beetles can prove to be deadly, specially with the higher speed they have. It is advised to use this petal to help you survive.
- Another good contender for Disc is Sandstorm. They're notorious for being very dangerous for their high body damage combined with a high speed and unpredictable movements. If you happen to accidentally ram into one with a Disc, chances of survival greatly increase.
- Desert Centipedes, while rammable, might get you killed if you try to kill them with ram damage, because they're even faster than a Beetle and might not let you escape, unless you use Jelly or Rubber.
Obtaining[]
- Fire Ant Burrows appear pretty commonly around Desert. You shouldn't have a hard time killing all of the Soldier Fire Ants spawned for a chance at getting the Disc.
- Beware of high rarity Fire Ant Burrows. Their Soldier Fire Ants might kill you quickly. Also try to not get killed by the other mobs in Desert while running from the Ants.
Ocean
- Disc is pretty useful with Rubber against Crabs, as if you happen to ram an Ultra+ Crab speeding onto you, you'll have less chances to die, while Rubber will let you escape. The same can be said about Leeches.
- It is also useful against Shells, even more so at Ultra/Super rarities. If it manages to catch you, or if it fires multiple deadly Pearls to you, Disc will greatly reduce damage taken, reducing chances of death.
Ant Hell
- Disc is a pretty good contender for all Ant Hells: while it can just be a general saver if you happen to get cornered, swarmed or caught, it can help tank the Fire Ants' extra damage (Super Disc completely negates it), as well as tank more hits from Termites while all of them get shared ram damage.
Hel
Using[]
- The Disc is viable in Hel as well, not only because it suits ram builds (who are pretty popular in the meta) very well, but also because it can mitigate opposing ram builds, as you'll take less damage if enemies Bubble up to you and ram you.
- Disc's also good in PvE, as it can help fighting any other mobs here: Gamblers (if you manage to get close to them), Hel Beetles, Hel Centipedes, Hel Spiders (beware of all three's speed and Hel Beetle's teleportation, though) and Hel Wasps and their projectiles.
Against[]
- Countering ram builds with Disc is simple as long as you can keep a distance from them, hit their Bubbles, deplete their HP slowly and be cautious around your surroundings. Countering Disc users who want to counter ram builds is pretty much the same thing.
- Keep in mind Disc only reduces body damage, so attacking them with petals will go as normal. Use burst petals like Stinger to quickly kill them.
- A less viable strategy would be using Cutter and Salt yourself to try to negate the reduced body damage. It will work better with other typical ram builds.
Jungle
- Dark Ladybugs and Evil Centipedes are great contenders for Disc ramming. This can also take decent care of Leafbugs and their Armor stat (which can be further downgraded with Bur).
Sewers
- As all mobs will mainly try to ram you, Disc is very good for increased survival, specially since Roaches are too fast to reliably escape from them. Don't forget to bring a Lotus as Spiders are pretty common here.

Trivia[]
- Disc's addition on the January 10th, 2024 update was added unmentioned in the Changelog.
- This is the third digdig.io-themed petal, with the first two being Cutter and Uranium. It's also the fourth reference to said game, with the others being Cutter, Digger and Uranium.
- The Disc is based on the "Naked" skin from the same game.
- When used with Cutter, the latter gains a thicker border. This is the first petal to visually change another petal's appearance.
- The Disc is one of the five wearable petals in the game, with the others being Antennae, Cutter, Third Eye and Magic Eye.
- Collision Damage Resistance stats can be calculated with the following formulawhere r is the rarity index (Common starts at 0, Unusual starts at 1, etc.)
