The Fire Ant Burrow is a mob that was added when the Desert scenario was released. All Fire Ant Burrows spawn Soldier Fire Ants when you get near them, shrinking in size as the ants spawn and dropping its drops when all the ants are killed. There is a small chance for a Digger to spawn after all the ants have spawned.
Appearance[]
A simple 3 Circles with a brighter red on the outside, darker red in the second circle, and the darkest in the middle circle. It is smaller than a regular Ant Hole.
When a player goes near a Common or Unusual Burrow, it spawns around 30 Soldier Fire Ants, then is destroyed.
Rare Fire Ant Burrows will have 8-13 Rare Soldier Fire Ants, 14-17 Unusual Soldier Fire Ants and 0-2 Common Soldier Fire Ants. (confirmation needed)

The XP Reward will be given when all mobs that come out of the Fire Ant Burrow are destroyed.

Strategy[]
- If you're farming in Desert and you're surrounded by mobs, do not try to come close near the mob as this can decrease the chances of survival, depending on what rarity. If you have stronger petals and are close to a high rarity Fire Ant Burrow, this isn't a problem as if the mobs that spawn have higher rarities you will probably die from the ants.
- Only pop a burrow if you don't have tons of mobs chasing you. These burrows can be very dangerous if you're forced near one and a lot of people die due to this. Use Bubbles to keep away from these if you're being chased.

Trivia[]
- This is one of the only mobs with no hitboxes so it can't be damaged. The others are Trader, Titan, Termite Mound and Oracle.
- This, Ant Hole and Termite Mound are the only mobs that can spawn Diggers.
- Rare+ Fire Ant Burrows used to be able to be entered. The inside looks like like any other Ant Hole with many Soldier Fire Ants inside and a small chance to spawn a Digger, but now they are the same as Common and Unusuals.
- Although Ultra/Super Fire Ant Burrows don't spawn a Queen Fire Ant, they spawn one Ultra/Super Soldier Fire Ant.
- The Fire Ant Burrows will be smaller when the Fire Ants comes out.
