The Firefly is a mob in florr.io that spawns in Jungle. When the firefly hits a player, it discharges lightning.

Appearance

The front of the mob is almost identical to that of the fly, whilst its back, composed out of a glowing yellow circle, with a line.

Stats & Behavior

Speed:It is slower than the Fly, but moves in the same way.

Behavior: Neutral, chases the flowers when hit, can be outran.

Spawning

The firefly spawns in Jungle. It can spawn anywhere in Jungle except for the beach part on top of the map. Higher rarities can be found deeper when gone

Strategy

It doesn't pose a threat, because it has low health and it's slower than the flower. It is advised to not ram it, if you don't want to risk to get exposed to the effect similar to the battery. With higher rarities, summons are extremely dangerous to use (unless you are using over 5 mythic ant eggs).

Trivia

• In real life, male fireflies use their glowing back to attract females. This could explain, why they aggro on you when you use a bulb, which is very similar in terms of the effect on the back of the firefly.
• Fireflies are the replacement of moths in terms of dropping battery (before they were added, the only mob to drop battery were moths, and before the Moth, it was the Leech).
• Firefly was planned to be released on the Jungle Update but was delayed for months.
