Magic Firefly, shortened in-game as just Firefly is a mob in florr.io, a rare variant of Firefly that spawns in random intervals in the place of regular Fireflies. They drop Mana Orb and Battery.

Magic Fireflies are a cyan recolored version of Firefly. They emit a blue glow instead of a yellow one.

Spawning[]

Magic Fireflies spawn in waves, with each wave lasting 3 minutes. During the wave, magic fireflies spawn everywhere except the top left of Jungle (near ocean portal). After a wave ends, another wave will appear randomly within the next three hours.

Strategy[]

Magic Fireflies don't pose a major threat, because they have low health and are slower than the flower. Do not ram the Magic Firefly, as ramming causes it to discharge large amounts of lightning damage. With higher rarities, summons are extremely dangerous to use against all Firefly variants.

All Magic Firefly rarities spawn with intervals of randomized minutes in between, so it is advised not to wait for the next wave straight after the last. Additionally, Magic Fireflies can only spawn if the mob density is low enough: this means that if there are too many mobs, higher rarity Magic Fireflies cannot spawn.

The best strategy to farm them is to use Bubble and Uranium around the Firefly zone which can usually guarantee epic and rare orbs. For more experienced players, Bubble around the Ultra zone with Wings.

Magic Fireflies are often greeded. To get around this, go to areas players don't normally visit, such as the right edge of the right side of Jungle or the Wasp zone. Doing this should find you a few more than you otherwise would.
