Glass is a petal from florr.io. It passes through mobs when touched, but when this touches any mob, it can't do any more damage to that mob for 1 second. The Glass is dropped by Sandstorms and Soldier Ants.
Appearance[]
As its name implies, the Glass is a shard of a glass. While in-game, it can morph into many different shapes: it can be assumed that the game draws 5 different points, then joins them and fills in the outline with a transparent white color. Its petal icon displays one of its various forms: an irregular pentagonal shape.

The Glass has infinite durability, thus can't be killed, and it passes through any and all enemies. However, in return, if it hits an enemy, you have to wait 1 second before the glass can deal damage to the same enemy again.

Strategy[]
- Glass is mainly useful for early game, as it does not need investment in any Reload Talents. It is not recommended to use Glass for mid game or late game, although it still keeps some of its utility, as not many petals have high damage with a decent reload speed.
- Glass is useful for dealing with large swarms of mobs because it can hit every mob at least once. That makes it a good contender for Deathwheel builds.
- Glass can be paired with Bur to deal more damage before going into cooldown, and also Heavy so you can barely manage to hit a mob twice before leaving said mob's hitbox.
- On the other hand, Fasters are also good contenders for pairing with Glass: not only because of Deathwheels, but also because the Faster lets this petal touch a mob quicker.
Obtaining[]
- Soldier Ants are more abundant and easier to deal with than Sandstorms, as they're not unpredictable or have extreme body damage. They also drop Glasses with more frequency and Mythic+ Soldier Ants have a special chamber that can be used for Glass farming.
- If you want to farm Sandstorms (specially due to Stick), remember to bring Disc to not die by its huge body damage.
Garden
- Glass can be a good petal to fight Ant Holes and their ants, Dandelions and maybe destroying a missile from a Hornet while still managing to damage it. Glass holds their ground well here, so they should be considered.
Desert
- This petal's phasing ability is great for taking multiple Soldier Fire Ants, specially if you end up popping too many. However, against anything else, it doesn't fare well, as it might not deal enough damage to take out something before you end up cornered or rammed by a mob.
Ocean
- Glass is a decent contender for fighting Leeches and other mobs, but since their damage output is not that high, it's better if you try petals or builds that do more DPS to comfortably take out Jellyfish and the likes.
Ant Hell
- Ant Hell has many situations where multiple Ants chase you, and even if you're chased by only one of them, Glass still deals quite the damage to them, specially on Termites
- Since it's invincible, it's actually immune to Fire Ants' double damage. Use that to your advantage.
Hel
Using[]
- Glass will also phase through players for a good damage against a flower. They're good contenders for PvP because of that. Glass will also pass through petals.
- Beware when you're fighting Salt users. Since Glass is way more likely to hit enemies, the opposing Salt will reflect lots of damage to you, leading to a possible counterattack and then kill.
- On PvE, Glass fares better against Hel mobs of lower rarities who're bothering you and your PvP. On higher rarities, Hel Centipede and Gambler are the weakest to it.
Against[]
- There isn't exactly a way to counter this petal directly, as it's invincible, thus you can't destroy it before it touches you.
- Use Basil and some Leaves to try to outheal a Glass' damage, Root to reduce damage taken from Glass or Salt to guarantee that the Glass user will take some damage back.
Jungle
- Try to use ranged petals along with Glass to kill Mantises and Wasps with ease, so they don't bother you as much.
- Glasses will help you quickly defeat Termites in a Termite Mound if you're careful.
- They will also deal more damage than a Leafbug's Armor. Use that to your advantage.
Sewers
- While Glass is a decently good contender and deals nice damage to Flies and Moths, consider using something else for Roaches and Spiders.

Trivia[]
- Glass is the first indestructible petal that is non-wearable. It's also the only petal that can't damage enemies for a certain amount of time besides a cooldown timer.
- Glass is not to be confused with glass petals: in video-game terminology, something that is glass (also referred to as glass cannons for itself or its users) has very low durability but deals immense damage (specially compared to their durability), referencing how real life objects made of glass can shatter easily, but can cause lots of very harmful cuts on you. In florr.io, there are some examples of glass petals, like the Stinger and its Blood counterpart. The Glass petal is rather a literal shard of glass whose ability to phase through mobs references a real life glass shard's cutting capacity as well, but not dealing as much damage as a glass petal.
- This petal was added unmentioned in the June 20th, 2024 update, along with the Privet Berry.
- Glass is the only petal that cannot be damaged and does damage.
- This is one of the only petals to change its appearance, since it spawns as a random shape.
- The only other petals to do so are Poker Chip, Card, and Dice.
- There is a (currently) uncountable amount of Glass shard formations. The one found in the petal image is just one of them.
- When you turn on Live icons, Glass different formations will be shown on the petal icon.
