Special	This is the only petal that deals lightning damage that also deals regular damage so far.

Laser is a petal from florr.io. Its function is to damage all entities in a straight line originating from the petal.

Appearance

Laser is a gray rectangle, that has a red circle attached to the bottom of the rectangle, and the long red laser line is attached to the circle, along with a transparent red line which appears as a laser.

Function

Its function is that it passively shoots a red, glowing laser and the laser does lightning damage. It is an unextendable petal (you cannot extend it by holding LMB). It ignores all enemy projectile entities.

This petal can technically deal infinite damage, due to the laser not having a bounce limit. Its laser damage seems to apply every tick or so, and it is most likely to deal less damage than stated in any practical scenario.

Laser has never been in shop yet, so prices are unknown.

Strategies

• Laser is a very interesting and unique petal, good for use in all areas. Keep in mind that it cannot damage projectiles.
• Laser is best when paired with multiple others and a few Lights to condense the Lasers together. This will make an extremely effective wall of death destroying all in its path. Yin Yang can also be equipped and unequipped to make this even better.
• Be aware that Laser is breakable, so make sure to keep Laser from the mob a certain distance.

Obtaining

• Use Sponge with Rubber to completely nullify the laser from Mecha Crabs. Shred the Mecha Crabs with your attacking petals.

Garden

• It can be used to fight mobs such as Spiders to deal as much damage as possible, however it is inefficent to Hornets.

Desert

• Nah nothing. Note that this lightning doesn't bounce. Like in Garden, do not use this against Scorpions. Useing this against Beetles is not that bad, but you have to take Web or Pincer along with it so you can survive.

Ocean

• Laser will shred Bubbles. Well every petal can do that.
• Using this against anything else in here is a bad idea, since they attack either from very far or very near.

Jungle

• Laser will ignore the Armor of Leafbugs.
• Using this and Light is quite good and safe here, since nothing here is faster than you. As said above, do not use this against Wasps and Mantises.

PvE

• This petal can be simply shredded by mobs. Don't use it here.

PvP: Using

• Strategies exclusively for fighting players while you're using this petal.
• PvP stands for Player versus Player, which is self-explanatory. Strategies here must include synergies with the petal to combat other players, and MUST NOT include petals fighting mobs in Hel.
• This section can also be used to describe Corruption fights.

PvP: Against

• Use Sponge with Rubber to completely nullify the laser's damage.

Ant Hell

• Strategies exclusively for the Ant Hell zone.
• This section can also be used to describe Ant Hole, Fire Ant Burrow and Termite Mound fights.

Sewers

• Pair Laser with Cogwheel and Yin Yang to hold it in place, and use Pincer with Jelly to prevent Flies from breaking Laser.

Trivia

• The Laser petal icon at Legendary rarity laser line is poorly visible.
• This is one the only petals that can deal Lightning damage that doesn't bounce to other enemies, the others being Blueberries and Mjölnir.
