The Leech is a mob in florr.io that spawns in the Ocean. They ram into flowers with alarming speeds, dealing damage every second until the flower is dead.
Appearance[]
They have a similar appearance to Baby Ants, except their body is lengthened. Like every other mob, leeches grow bigger with every rarity.
Stats & Behavior[]
Speed: Leeches are extremely fast, moving much faster than players when they are aggroed. They slowly moves around until a flower is in sight. Then, Leeches will speedily move to them.
Behavior: Moves slowly until it spots a player. When it spots a player, it will move towards the player with extreme speed, attaching onto the player and dealing damage every second, while gaining health.

Leeches ram into flowers and "suck their blood", draining flower health. Even though leeches can only "suck blood" once per second, ramming into the side of the Legendary or Mythic leech can deal extreme damage. Now Leech has ability to phase through mobs.
Spawning[]
The Leech spawns everywhere in Ocean.

Strategy[]
- With its long body(unless it is a short leech), technically with segments that share health, Lightning petals can strike a part of the leech and chain between them.
- When Leeches are attacking a flower, the flower can equip Cutter or Battery and ram to fight back.
- Even though Legendary leeches are not very tough, Mythic leeches can kill anyone alone that is using a regular Ocean build; In return, it would be best to use Mass-Healing petals that are capable of being used in the defense position, alongside a few Fangs to heal back some of the massive amounts of health that would be lost in the fight. Using a Disk also helps the flower taking less damage and therefore less healing required for recovery.
- If there aren't any other mobs (beside Leeches) chasing you, it would be best to stay still and let the damage be done. This works best if there is another player nearby to help you destroy the leech(es).
- Using egg petals can be good when a lot of leeches are chasing you as it can make some of the leeches targeting them for a moment. Also, it can attack the leech from a far distance.
- Do not use any petals that deal knockback, as you will knock the body segments of the leech onto yourself. Unlike the head which is attached to the player, the body segments have no delay for damage and can deal damage extremely quickly.
- Do not use Blood Stingers, or the self damage will kill you faster.
- For Ultra Leech, use Basils and Mythic Fangs to defeat it. Use at least 4 Mythic Fangs. Using Yucca/Starfish can also help.
- Try to avoid the random mobs when killing Mythic+ Leeches. They can knock the body segments onto you as well.
- Lightning is quite effective against Leeches, because their bodies are technically segmented and therefore count as multiple entities.

Trivia[]
- When the world map was introduced, Leeches did not spawn until the 14th February 2023 update.
- Leeches used to drop loot for all of their segments.
- Leeches are the Ocean equivalent to Jungle Centipedes, in terms of behavior.
- Its speed when attacking is slightly faster than that of the Desert Centipede.
- Leeches have one of the farthest aggro range. This can be dangerous as an ultra leech could spot you from far away and launch an surprise attack on you. You can use antennae to be prepared for incoming leeches, or a poo for reducing leech aggro range.
- Common and Unusual Leeches used to be very rare, but after the April 13th update, they now can spawn.
