Mysterious Stick, shortened in-game to Stick is a petal in florr.io. It summons up to 2 ally Sandstorms which each lasts for a certain amount of time. Sticks are dropped from Sandstorms

Appearance

Stick's appearance resembles a cartoonish wooden stick, having a brown stick that has two lines at the top, and a line at the left is rotated slightly above, and a shorter line down.

Strategy

The Stick is a bit worthy in different conditional ways to use this petal.

Compared to the other two summoning petals, Beetle Eggs and Ant Eggs, the Sticks summon much more powerful mobs, 2 Sandstorms, which deal much more total damage than both Eggs, while their total health is higher than Beetle Eggs but lower than Ant Eggs.

However, just one stick, once it has spawned 2 of its sandstorms, has over 3x the burst damage compared to a beetle egg. This make it very powerful for afk as it can build up sandstorms for a lurer. When using sticks, it is recommend to use them against a wall to minimise the effect of the sandstorm’s random movement. Stick excels in afk areas such as sewers and fire ant hell.

To obtain sticks, the fastest way is by grinding the sandstorm zone in the top left of desert, which can yield around 200 lsticks/hour after crafting. The box (bottom right) can also be farmed for sticks, though the rates are lower. When grinding box you can also get numerous other useful petals such as beetle egg, iris, pincer, disc and cactus. Super Sandstorms and also a great way to obtain sticks. They have around a 5% chance to drop an ultra stick.

Garden

• The allied sandstorm is a bit fragile, but it is great for Hornet swarms, except in harder mobs. Make sure to dodge their projectiles since they can destroy the Sticks easily.
• You can also use with Egg to survive harder mobs because beetles have more strength than Sandstorms.

Desert

• The sandstorms can easily destroy Scorpions; however, it is not recommended to have Epic sticks since its rare sandstorms are very weak.
• Mythic or Ultra sticks are a must for hardest areas.

Ocean

• If you are using sticks, Jellyfish might easily destroy them using their lightning, Crabs can chase sandstorms, and Leeches destroy low-tier sandstorms easily.
  • This is because Eggs have more defensive ways, so they are easier to survive with.
• Do not use this petal with a crab swarm, since crabs have higher HP than sandstorms.

Jungle

• Can be useful as it can damage an equal rarity Leafbug unlike the Soldier Ants from an Ant Egg.
• Can act as a Meatshield towards Wasps.

PvP

Using

• The sandstorm allies will protect you, but it is only great with Mythic or Ultra sticks.
• Pair this with rubber to avoid electrical attacks from lightning users.

Against

• Since Mythic+ Sticks spawn the highest rarities possible, they still have one weakness to it: its usage respawn time. Non-Stick users can use this weakness to their advantage as they take a long time to summon up to 2 sandstorms at a time (unless they're using ultra Sticks).
  • However, if they do spawn, they have a lot of health, but it is best to stay away from it and use any ranged petals, Oranges, Yin Yangs, and/or any high DPS petals to take them out one at a time.

Trivia

• All types of summoner mobs besides Square, such as Ant Egg and Beetle Egg will now have a smaller size on all rarities.
• It is one of the 4 summoning petals. The others are Beetle Egg, Ant Egg and Square.
  • Stick and Square are the only summoner petals that aren't eggs.
• Stick is the only petal to start at Epic rarity.
• In an unknown date during 2023, there was a secret change to the stick petal as ally sandstorms can only last for certain amount of seconds before they respawn, forcing the stick to go on usage respawn cooldown, just to summon a brand-new sandstorm, with the cycle endlessly repeating if the stick is present in player's primary build.
• Sticks used to have health and damage stats themselves, but they were removed.
