Strategies[]
- Magic Stick thrives wherever normal Stick does but with some differences.
- This petal is immensely powerful only when paired with magic petals close to its own rarity as it consumes much more mana than other magic petals like Magic Stinger or Magic Eye to balance out the fact that it essentially acts like 7 Sticks in 1 inventory slot.
- Similar to normal Stick, avoids melee combat at all cost as the petal itself has garbage stats like the normal Stick and will be instantly destroy by high rarity mobs. Swapping loadout is very inefficient just like normal Stick but Magic Stick provides more self survivability when you solo farm (which is 99% what you will be doing when you are using this petal) as left over mana from the petals you use to maintain summoned Sandstorms will come in handy when the Magic Stick gets destroyed at close range, allow you to use Magic Eye or Magic Stinger do defend yourself or bubble away from mobs.
- For farming in general, the Sandstorms' unpredictable movement when the user is stationary doesn't really harm you. If you can maintain all the Sandstorms, 15 Sandstorms are no joke, especially with Super+ Magic Stick which spawns Ultra Sandstorms combine with Summoner Talents, are insanely good at shredding everything apart including your Mana. From here are just speculations as no detailed info on Super M Stick usage has been known to me: To consistently maintain a Super Magic Stick you would need 1 Ultra Mana Orb, 3-4 Ultra Magic Leaf, 1 Mythic/Ultra Magic Cactus, all of these petals by themselves are pretty hard to obtain already but supposed you have all the needed ingredients, having 7 Super Stick with just 1 Super craft attempt is still great nonetheless as Super Sticks are still rarer than the Ultras you need to have to maintain all Sandstorms.
Obtaining[]
- This petal can be obtained by killing Epic+ Sandstorms in Desert while having Epic+ Mana Orb in your current loadout. This will replace the normal Stick drop of the Sandstorm with Magic Stick of the same rarity as the Mana Orb you have even if you aren't supposed to get that drop at high rarity, like other Magic Petals.
- The most efficient method of farming Sticks will also applied to Magic Stick, specifically:
- The top left box, this spawns pretty much only Legendary/Mythic Sandstorm so is really suitable for mid-games who desperately need Ultra Magic Stick to farm other petals. Rate is pretty high (for mid-game obviously) at probably 300~400 L/h and 2 or 3 M if you are lucky so expect maybe 3-4 days for 1 Ultra Magic Stick if you already have some Ultras. For Ultra+ players this zone will not cut it as Mythic spawn rate here is quite low for the only pure Sandstorm zone in the game, even actively farming for those players in this zone would only brought the rate up maybe 2k-3k/h. For a estimate of roughly 150k+ L for 1 Super (that's if the RNG is with you), you don't want to farm here late-game.
- The Ultra zone of Desert, which is the bottom right box is where you want to farm Magic Stick late game. Despite being a general Ultra zone, the rates should still be better here compared to Sandstorm zone as Super Sandstorms spawn here and with a good enough Squad you should be getting around 75 M Magic Sticks/h and a 5% Ultra drop from Super Sandstorm (if you have Ultra Magic Orb which you probably don't) so still much better rates than other zones. As Sandstorms have basically no mob AI to aggro on you AFK farming is a terrible if you are only here for the Sticks but this zone serves a very good purpose of having very good rates of everything else so even actively farming for just Sandstorms might gave you more of other petals good petals like Iris, Pincer, Beetle Egg, etc. (especially Magic Cactuses which helps with using Magic Sticks) than Magic Sticks themselves.
- This petal can also be bought from the shop, see price above. This method should only be considered for those who farms for actual money.
Garden
Desert
- Summoned Sandstorms are very good meatshield for Ultra zone because Desert mobs are pretty tanky and has high body damage compared to mobs of other are except Hel. Take Super Magic Stick which spawns Ultra Sandstorms for example, with max Summoner Talent, each Sandstorm has 5686200 HP and 45489.6 DMG each.
Ocean
- Sandstorms annihilates every single mob in Ocean due to their low stats generally speaking
- Bubbles get popped as they should.
- Leeches' low health means that with just a few Sandstorms, they will be shredded before even getting close to you. Even if they did, the healing wouldn't be enough anyways.
- Crabs can still poses a threat at high rarity as now, instead of charging in and get stopped by Sandstorms half way, they phase through summons and come straight at you.
- Jellyfishes at Ultra- gets destroyed if you are able to maintain the Sandstorms and keep a distance. Super

Hel
PvE[]
- Strategies exclusively for fighting Hel mobs.
- PvE stands for Player versus Enemy, which is used to refer to players fighting mobs (like the Hel Wasp, which is present in Hel). This section has to include petals fighting mobs, and MUST NOT include petals fighting other players.
PvP: Using[]
- This petal doesn't have much use offensively for PvP as Sandstorms don't aggro on players and move unpredictably so you can't have them to both attack other players and defend yourself. Though its defensive uses are superior to every other summon provided that you can maintain the summoned Sandstorms.
- Sandstorms are extremely good as a large wall to sponge massive amount of damage that other summon will otherwise be annihilate way to fast to have any value against other players, especially Super+ squads which will shred through Ultras like nothing. Being able to consistently maintain 15 buffed Ultra Sandstorms makes you basically invincible. This pair extremely well with Magic Eye as you can zap other players from a distance without having to worry they can Lightning or Battery you back as Sandstorms will absorb all bounces if they are close to each other.
- With the Feb 6th, 2025 update, Sandstorms now phase through non-flower entities so generally PvP aren't affected beside summoner interactions.
PvP: Against[]

Gallery[]

15 is the maximum sandstorms were spawned by Magic Stick.
Trivia[]
- Magic Stick used to summon a total of 30 Sandstorms before being nerfed down to 15 in December 19th 2024.
- This is the second petal where the first rarity is Epic. The first petal to do this is Stick.
