Ocean is an area in florr.io. It has a blue background and mobs that live in the ocean. All entities in the ocean appear more bluish than normal to reflect water's effect on perception.
Appearance[]
It looks exactly the same as the old Ocean map, but rotated 90 degrees.
The texture of the walls are made out of dirt, but some places had the walls made out of a rock.
Some area that resembles Jellyfish Fields (middle a bit right top), East Water 7 (top right), East Water 3 (middle right), and Crab Kingdom (bottom right) are on this map.
Location[]
Ocean is located at the top right region of the world map. The spawn area is where the Garden connection is.
Connection[]
This area connects to 2 areas.
Area | Connection location |

Garden | Middle |

Mobs[]
A total of 7 mobs spawn in Ocean.
Bubble: Passive mob that has low body damage, very low health and a damage cap. It pushes entities away when killed. Drops Bubble and Air.
Shell: Neutral mob that chases in bursts once every second when provoked and has high health. Drops Shell, Pearl, and Magnet.
Crab: Aggressive mob that orbits the player for a while at a far distance and medium speed before charging the player at a fast speed after a random amount of time. Has moderate health and high damage. Drops Claw and Sand.
Jellyfish: Aggressive mob that slowly chases the player, zapping them with lightning if they get too close. This lightning can chain to hit other friendly flowers and mobs. The lightning has low damage but fast recharge and 100% accuracy. Drops Lightning and Jelly.
Starfish: Aggressive mob that has health regen. Chases the player but retreats to heal when its health drops below 50%. Once on full health again it will chase the player. Higher-than-average damage. Drops Sand, Salt, and Starfish.
Sponge: An immobile mob that spawns rarely. Drops Sponge.
Leech: An aggressive and long, skinny mob that moves very quickly. When it makes contact with a player, it attaches to it and it moves at the same speed as the player and periodically drains HP from the player until either one of them die. Drops Faster and Fangs.

Special Zones[]
In the bottom area, there is a corridor where legendary and mythic sponges spawn frequently.
In the bottom wall, there is a mythic area suitable for farming every ocean mob except sponge.
The top section is all jellyfish, from legendaries at the left side to ultras at the right side. This area will be somewhat dangerous if a player's flower does not have enough base flower health.
The top right area is mostly Mythic-Ultra starfish, but some Jellyfish and Bubbles spawn there. It is one of the most difficult zones in the entire world map.
The bottom right room, known as the Crab Kingdom, is mostly ultra crabs with some ultra bubbles and is one of the most difficult zones in the entire world map.
The right ocean trench is the most difficult zone in the entire map. Ultra jellyfish, starfish, leeches, bubbles, sponges, and crabs spawn frequently in the narrow corridors with a high mob density. This zone should only be passed during super hunting. Otherwise, it is an extremely dangerous zone.
The place beside the ocean trenches has far higher amounts of ultra bubbles, but also has all other ocean mobs, making it extremely difficult.
Strategies[]
See also: Builds - Ocean
- Ocean can be a difficult area to play. There aren't a high variety of mobs, but they cover each other's weaknesses and have annoying abilities.
- Bubbles are nearly harmless and don't require any strategy to beat. In fact, they can be beneficial to the players, pushing dangerous mobs away.
- Shells can be annoying but don't require special strategies to beat. They remain stationary until provoked, so players don't have to worry about a rush of them unless they provoke a bunch at once. Avoiding ranged petals can be advisable if a lot of shells are nearby. Shells can also knock players into more dangerous mobs. If you see a lot of shells, then you might be in the area. You have to avoid them and don't touch one of them if you have low health
- Jellyfish have a 100% accuracy within a short range. They must be taken out quickly or the damage will quickly accumulate.
- Ranged petals are essential to staying out of range of their lightning attack. Missile and Peas are good options. Eggs can also work but you have to be careful that they don't chain jellyfish lightning onto you. With eggs, keep in mind that the mobs may be struck by lightning too, and even worse, chain it onto the player. Missiles will one shot most jellyfish due to their low HP, but can be hard to aim. Peas can deal a lot of damage to swarms but lack single target damage.
- Trying to counter the jellyfish with their own attack by using Lightning is unadvisable. The petal's range is shorter than the jellyfish's range, so the user will take damage.
- Rubber can make your flower take less lightning damage.
- Salt in conjunction with healing petals can be powerful. The jellyfish will sting themselves to death due to the salt reflecting damage onto them. Healing must be used since this strategy requires taking damage.
- Most petals that work well against the Jellyfish are poor against the Starfish. With health regen, high DPS is required to take them out, which ranged petals mostly lack.
- Missile grants the best of both worlds due to its high damage. It can one shot weaker starfish, but rarer ones will be able to regen. Eggs can similarly deal burst damage but have a long recharge.
- Fasters and Lights have the highest DPS and can kill hordes of starfish. However, it can only focus on a few at a time, so others will have the chance to regen, meaning players should be prepared for repeated attacks. This build is also bad against the other ocean mobs.
- Dandelions lack damage but disable the starfish's healing, so lower DPS is acceptable. It also prevents them from retreating, so be prepared for a prolonged attack. Dandelions are nearly essential to kill Ultra+ Starfish. It's not needed against Mythic Starfish.
- Use lightning against hordes of starfish to make them retreat but it can't kill them all at once.
- Crabs have high damage and an extremely annoying movement pattern. Their circular movement means they can easily dodge close-ranged petals, and they have a tendency to run away from attacks. They charge the player randomly too, making them unpredictable.
- Ranged petals are good against crabs, as are Wings. Lightning is useful since it never misses, mitigating the crab's tendency to dodge.
- You can switch to bubbles to quickly run away. Crabs pursue players rather slowly compared to their charge.
- In crab kingdom, sometimes multiple crabs cram together, changing their charging routes.
- If playing ocean, it's important to bring a lot of healing because players will be taking tons of damage from jellyfish and mob rushes. Ranged petals are essential as are DPS petals and/or dandelions.
- It can help to use Pollen or Light to space ranged petals closer together, making aiming less essential. Pollen is recommended over light since they can leave mines on the ground that may damage enemies.
