This page is for normal peas. For the magic petal variant, see Blueberries.

Peas is a petal in Florr.io. It is released into four peas that are launched in a straight line when the player attacks or defends.

Appearance[]

Four small green circular petals with a dark green outline. They are arranged in a square-like formation with a slight overlap and a small empty space in the center, similar to Grapes and Sand.

Function[]

Note: The "A + B" respawn format means that the petal takes A seconds to respawn and B seconds after respawning to do its special action/have its special action enabled.

Note: Health stats are for the whole petal health. Each pea have 1/4 of the full health.

Strategy[]

Despite heavy nerfs, peas are still a good petal for dealing ranged damage against swarms of mobs. Peas damage increases in mid range combat but decreases overall in close quarters. Single target damage will increase, but since the peas won't fire, it removes group damage.

To make the most of peas, get as close to a mob as possible without letting the peas touch it prematurely before firing. Peas are best used when spammed since it mitigates their RNG factor.

Garden[]

  • Being a ranged petal, peas are great against hornets. They can deal moderate damage to large swarms from far away.
    • Peas do best when mobs are more spread out, so users should try to prevent the hornets from clumping by staying fairly still, only moving slightly to dodge missiles.
  • Peas are great against swarms of weak mobs. They're useful for clearing out an area after stronger mobs have been killed. Ironically, peas are strong against Centipedes, the mob that drops them.

Desert[]

  • Peas are worse in desert since mobs deal all their damage with their body, forcing pea users into close combat. They are still useful against Sandstorms and Desert Centipedes since they're best taken out from a distance and tend to spawn in swarms.

Ocean[]

  • Peas are decent against ocean mobs since range is useful. However, it lacks burst damage that petals such as the Missile have, so it's not the most optimal petal to use. It is good at thinning out an advancing rush of mobs.
  • Peas are near useless against Starfish since their DPS can't match the starfish's health regen.

PvP[]

Using[]

  • Peas struggle to deal damage against a single target. However, when spammed, they're almost guaranteed to make a hit on nearby players every time.
    • Peas are also decent at inflicting knockback on opponents, keeping them further away from the user.

Against[]

  • Keeping petals in the defensive position, especially with Light, Pollen or high health petals, can prevent peas from hitting the flower.
  • Bubbles can be used to quickly approach a peas user without taking much damage. Once in close range, it'll be difficult for the pea user to survive.
