Strategy[]

  • Queen Ants have average speed but briefly stay in place every time they lay an Ant Egg.
    • Luring them in circles is a bad idea as the Soldier Ants they spawn will end up covering her body from flower attacks.
  • You can outrun Queen Ants by moving in a straight line. This is also considered to be the best way to lure them, as the Soldier Ants she hatches will stay behind her, leaving the Queen Ant wide open for attacks. If she's from a Common or Unusual Ant Hole, she will stop chasing you past a certain distance from the Ant Hole. Bubbles can help with this. If another flower is nearby, they can attack her while you run. You can also use shovel while near someone else so that it will aggro on the other person instead.
  • It's a good idea to attack Queen Ants if you see one. They can drop good loot, especially higher rarity Queen Ants, meaning that they're good for getting petals you need or for farming XP.
  • The Ant Eggs she lays will hatch Soldier Ants that only stay near her and attack targets close to the Queen Ant that hatched them. If they are separated from their Queen Ant, they will attempt to return to the Queen Ant's location, ignoring mobs and flowers in their way to it. The Ant Eggs she hatches are unique in that they're the only Ant Eggs to hatch Soldier Ants. They will instantly hatch the Soldier Ant should they be destroyed before the hatch timer ends, and do not drop Ant Egg.
  • Her circular hitbox does not match her physical appearance.

Trivia[]

  • On the May 8, 2024 update, the Wing petal was made to no longer drop from Queen Ant.
    • This caused its XP reward to lower.
  • Queen Ant is tied with Queen Fire Ant for third highest health.
  • Before the 1st January 2025 update, the Queen Ant could only spawn as Ultra or above in Ant Hell, and only spawned in Mythic- rarities in Garden. After the Ant Hell map update, they can now spawn in any rarity inside of Ant Hell.
  • The Soldier Ants spawned by the Queen Ant will try to be near her at all times, even after the death of the Queen Ant.
