The Roach is a mob in florr.io. It spawns in the Sewers.
Appearance[]
Roaches look like a brown oval with 2 spots and 2 stripes on its abdomen. Its head protudes from the abdomen, visibly darker than the body, with two Antennae protruding from it.
Stats & Behavior[]
Speed: Slow when normal, extremely fast when provoked. A Roach's movement is directly proportional to its health, moving faster with more health and slower with lower health.
Behavior: When provoked, chases and attacks the player.

Roaches (while unprovoked) move a few tiles in one direction, before turning around and moving in another direction. If they take any damage from a player, they will move much faster than the player until killed or reaching low health. As stated previously, movement speed is faster at high health. Going out of view of the Roach can remove its aggro.

Strategy[]
- Provoking it without any petals that can hinder the roach movement is a bad idea, so Web, Jelly, and Pincers can help as they slow mobs down. And if you don't have high-rarity Bubbles while the high-rarity Roach is charging at you, you are likely doomed. Claw is also a good choice to quickly reduce the health of a Roach, and with it its movement speed. Using Powder to escape from any mob is impractical since if you can outrun it with powder it's likely not posing any risks to you anymore.
- When encountering one, proceed with caution. It doesn't have much health, so it's recommended to wait until all your petals have reloaded before proceeding.
- Ramming is good when dealing with Roaches. People with mostly Mythic petals can also beat Ultra roach.
- You can use its speed as an advantage to yourself by aggravating the roach and letting it chase you and bounce you towards wherever you want to go; if you turn and go towards a certain direction the roach chases and bounces you in that certain direction, until you or the roach dies. (WARNING: this method only works if you have high health, high regeneration or high body damage, otherwise, you will die in mere seconds while using this strategy.)
- Beetle Eggs that are 1 rarity higher can also kill the Roach, as the Beetle is stronger than the Roach.
- Moon can give you enough time to kill the Roach before it gets destroyed.
- Roaches have a habit of crushing you into walls so petals such as Heavy and Corn can help because of their tankiness and their ability to keep mobs back. If all else fails, use Shovel to lose its aggro and go somewhere safer.

Trivia[]
- The position of the Roach in the gallery used to be shifted a bit to the top left.
- It is the only mob in which its movement speed is proportional to it's health.
- Roach is currently the fastest mob in the game.
- Roach used to be called Cockroach, but its name was changed during March.
