Garden[]

Soil allows the user to soak up more damage from incoming attacks, particularly Hornet swarms.
Overall strategy exclusively for Garden.

Desert[]

Because of the fact that Soil can reduce your movement speed, this is useful for fighting Ultra/Super Sandstorms, as slower movement speed can help resist the Sandstorm's pull.

Ocean[]

Overall strategy exclusively for Ocean.

PvP[]

Using[]

You can pair some Soil with some Salt to kill anyone who does enough damage to you. Players will also run away from you. Feel free to use a Cutter if you plan on ramming players.

Against[]

Since Soil makes flowers slower, you can attack your enemy from a distance without them attacking you as much, or run away. They will also be easier to hit, due to Soil making them larger.

The Soil is one of many players in florr.io that increase your flower stats. In this case, it increases your size and flower health with a cost of movement speed.
- Soil is one of the three petals that increases flower health. The others are Cactus and Relic.
  - If 10 Super Soils are equipped in your inventory, you will get a 1,093,500 health increase, allowing the player to out-ram the Ultra Rock.
- Soil is one of the two petals that increases your size. The other is Air.
  - Using 10 soil would enlarge the flower to around legendary digger size.
  - It is possible to mimic/cosplay as a Digger by using couple Soils and a Cutter.
    - After the Air granted its size increase, soils are still used to cosplay as a Digger.
ViciousOogie was the first person to obtain the Super Soil.
Players can block entrances in Ant Hell with Soil and sometimes Air to prevent players from entering to where they're supposed to farm for. This can be very annoying.
- Shovel works against this.
