The Soldier Termite is a mob in florr.io that was added in the February 27th 2023 update. This ant is hostile toward all flowers regardless of being attacked or not.
Appearance[]
Looks exactly like the worker termite but has two wings on its back. The wings are semi-transparent and look like white ovals attached to the back behind the head. The wings flap back and forth when aggressive but are still when passive.
Stats & Behavior[]
Speed: Slow when passive, medium when aggressive.
Behavior: Wanders around randomly, moving a few tiles before stopping and changing directions. Becomes aggressive when a flower gets close, at which point it will chase the flower. It's aggressive range is smaller than other aggressive mobs like beetles and hornets, allowing you to get closer. Soldier ants also stop chasing you if you're at least a moderate distance away.

It has a psyonic connection with other termites, taking damage if any other termites within a certain radius of itself takes damage.

Strategy[]
- Soldier Termites often come in swarms, therefore it is advised to stay away from the edges of the map to avoid getting smothered
- These ants, having high health and damage sharing, are extremely difficult to defeat without ultra bone (specifically Legendary+). Try to make sure that you take on different swarms one by one in order to reduce the damage spreading.
- Use Lightning to damage several termites at once. This is very effective as termites tend to die together.
- Try to keep away from Worker and Baby Termites while fighting the soldiers, as they act as meat shields that spread the damage that you deal to the soldiers

Trivia[]
- Soldier Termites can be spawned from Ant Egg by using Relic.
- In 22nd October 2024 update, Soldier Termite's health was reduced to match the normal Ant's health. M28 explained that the Termites already share its HP, so it doesn't need buffed HP.
- On 2/24/2025, the termite now drops the useless privet, and fire ant soldiers now drop bones. At least yucca and relic arent switched around.
