Uranium is a petal from florr.io. Its function consists of periodically dealing poison damage to all enemies in a large radius (even underground mobs such as Worm). The Uranium can also be dropped on the ground, but however, it also poisons the user. Uranium is dropped from Barrels and Diggers.

Appearance[]

Uranium consists of a green heptagon, with a darker green outline. While in-game, the Uranium will pulsate and also has a large pulsating green glow, same as Bulb.

Function[]

Note: The "A + B" respawn format means that the petal takes A seconds to respawn and B seconds after respawning to do its special action/have its special action enabled.

Uranium deals damage to all enemies in a large radius every second. It also causes all mobile mobs in this radius to become aggressive (with the exception of Sandstorm, Bubble and Digger). Uranium also affects underground mobs such as Worm. Uranium's damage varies based on the distance to the target. The user also receives the full poison damage. Uraniums can be dropped on the ground, and multiple of them can be spawned and dropped. Even if you unequipped Uranium and have dropped this petal on the ground, it will not despawn and will kill you.

Strategy[]

As well as poison damage, Uranium deals serious damage to the player (MUran takes 3.7s to kill a player with full health), so it is not suggested to use it unless the player has a build either with Lotus (3 at same rarity to be safe), or a healing build which can outheal the Uranium. These can include Basil with full Yucca or full Starfish.

If you don’t have good healing petals, then wearing more than two Lotuses is very effective because they can absorb the damage from Uranium. Two Lotuses are generally enough with another healing petal, but to be safe you can use 3-4, because damage taken among Lotuses doesn't work properly. 4 Lotus of same rarity as uranium or 1 lotus 1 rarity up with a lotus same rarity as uranium can completely nullify poison damage. Lotus drops from Roach, which can be easily killed with a Pincer, Bone, or Rock.

An expensive but effective strategy is to pair Uranium with Moon Rock, Bubbles, Cogwheel, and Yin Yang to drive the Uranium far away from your flower so that you don't receive the poison damage yourself. Keep an eye on the Moon Rock's HP and switch out Uranium as soon as the Moon Rock breaks so that the Uranium doesn't respawn next to you. This strategy is essential for Unique Uranium due to the fact that only one Unique Lotus can exist at a time, and other health petals are too weak at this point.

Garden[]

  • Uranium is good for attracting all mobs with rarities of Epic and below, and usually passive mobs of Mythic and below (prepare for the battle though!)

Desert[]

  • Same as Garden.
  • Do not use in high rarity Desert Centipede zones, as it can easily catch up to you.

Ocean[]

  • Same as Garden and Desert.
  • It could be used for attracting Shells, but Bulb and Honey are better at this job.

Jungle[]

Be aware of the fireflies chasing you.

Ant Hell[]

At high rarities, Uranium works wonders under the protection of a FAH stack, as UUran can deal 21.9k DPS, which is enough to guarantee drops on MSoldiers. This strategy can get up to 3.8k legendaries/hour. This strategy does not work so well in TAH stacks, as they are easily killed with UBones.

Sewers[]

  • Don't use it or else the roach will ram and kill you instantly.
  • it can kill flies instantly because its damage cannot be evaded, use with Webs and pincers.

Using[]

  • Using high levels almost guarantees instant death. However, Lotus can delay it, and using Soil or Cactus can help increase your hp to counter damage you take.

Against[]

  • Using Salt will make the Uranium user damage itself even more.

Trivia[]

  • Super Uranium is one of the rarest petals in the game without directly purchasing it from shop. It is equally rare as Cutter. The only other petals that may be rarer are Yggdrasil, Basic, Square, Moon Rock and Mimic. ignoring petal rarity variants.
  • On December 1st, 2023, Uranium was nerfed.
  • Uranium was made much easier to obtain after the Ultra/Super mob update, which made it possible for Ultra Diggers to spawn.
  • In March 22nd, 2024, Uranium has been completely changed: it now deals more poison damage, but it can be dropped on the ground.
  • It is one of the petals that can be placed down, the others are Web, Pollen, Pearl and Ankh.
  • Uranium used to make all mob aggressive when it gets in its range but Uranium doesnt actually make Baby Ants and Moth aggressive and follow the player.
  • This is also the first petal to attack through walls and Underground Mobs.
  • Uranium is the only petal that you can kill yourself with. (Unequipping a Sponge and having the damage kill you is not because of the Sponge.)
