Characteristic	Shoots out small missiles that have massive damages. Its stats are also the same as the normal Wasp.

The Wasp/Hel is a Hel variant mob that was added in May 13, 2024. It resembles the regular Wasp from the Jungle.

Appearance

It looks like the actual Wasp, but with recolored reddish body color without the big missile at its back. Similarly to other Hel mob variations, the front part was replaced by Hel Beetle's mouth with messy teeth inside that behaves as its missiles. Unlike a Wasp or Hornet, Hel Wasps actually shoot from the front of their bodies, but without the curvature that a Wasp's missiles have.

Stats & Behavior

Speed:  Medium.

Behavior: Aggressive, shoots multiple small missiles in various directions with a knockback on the wasp, which behaves like a shotgun. It shoots depends on the players position, using its own mouth, the teeth are made with missiles, those missiles attacks flowers on their position as when the flowers came closer to them.

At the Super Rarity, there is no ability for Hel Wasp since the back of it does not generate missiles, and also could be chaotic by swarm of Ultra Hel Wasps if there is even an ability for it.

Spawning

The Wasp/Hel spawns in Hel. Similar to other Hel mobs, a red mark appears for about a second or two before the Wasp spawns, with the size of the red marking signaling the rarity of the Wasp. However, the mark is also used for other Hel mobs.

Strategy

• Jelly, with the combination of Wings and healing petals can take down Hel Wasps.
• Eggs such as Ant Egg and Beetle Egg can also be used to approach the Hel Wasp head on and tank its missiles.
• Standing still will also, mostly allow you to dodge its missiles, though beware of other mobs as they may interrupt your standing.
• For Mythic/Ultra Hel Wasps, a combination of bubbles and burst damage can be effective, although this is risky and can lead to you taking heavy damage.
• Ultra Hel Wasps, which are rather common in Hel, are extremely annoying because they shoot small but damaging missiles which, not only pushing you back, sends them flying out of your petals' reach. This means it's much easier if you have friends to attack the Hel Wasp while it's targeted on you.
• Because the missiles appear smaller, Players can easily underestimate how strong they really are.

Trivia

• Wasp/Hel's Dice drop was replace with Poker Chip in May 28, 2024 update.
• This mob was added on May 13, 2024. For an unknown reason, this was not mentioned in the Changelog.
• It is the first Hel mob that originates from the Jungle. The other being Centipedes/Hel.
• This mob has the same stats as the actual Wasp.
• The missiles when fired looks like a shotgun.
• The Hel Wasp shoots 5 missiles at a time, which is the amount of missiles at the front of its body.
• The Hel Wasp, along with other Hel variants, has had its appearance changed, going from just a red recolor of the Wasp to added missiles/teeth at the front of its body. However, it is the only Hel mob that acts in a different way from its normal counterpart, firing 5 normal missiles instead of 1 curved missile.
• Hel Wasps' and Wasps' Missiles used to have the same stats. However, this has been changed in Jan 2025. Now they have half the stats.
