Wax is a petal from florr.io. Its function consists of dropping a large block of wax to block mobs. Wax is dropped by Bumble Bee.
Appearance[]
Wax consists of a large golden hexagon that resembles Honey, but is much larger than the aforementioned and has sharper edges.

Wax blocks projectiles and other mobs. Players can push the wax block around. Wax does not appear as a petal that revolves around the player, as it instantly spawns where the player is once its cooldown timer ends. Higher rarities of Wax are larger and have more health.

Purchasing[]
Wax currently hasn't appeared in the Shop yet.
Strategies[]
- Wax can act as a defensive petal, as it has very high health. However, it does no damage and has a very high respawn time.
- Wax can be used to afk, paired with eggs and sticks. However, it's reload time and lack of damage makes it quite weak.
- Wax is essentially budget moon, but with a couple differences:
- Wax has only 40% the health of a Moon (of the same rarity). It does no damage.
- Players can hide inside a Moon (because it phases through flowers and petals.) They cannot hide inside Wax.
- Wax has half the reload of Moon.
- Moon can and will move around and, because your petals orbit it, can bubble around and tank through mobs. Wax stays stationary and your petals don't orbit it. The only way to move a Wax is by pushing it around.
- It goes without saying, but Wax is far easier to obtain than Moon and has a minimum rarity of Rare rather than Ultra.
Obtaining[]
- Farm Bumble Bees to obtain this petal.
- It is advised that you should farm Wax in the main Spiral and the mini Spiral.
Garden
- Wax can be used to block Hornet missiles, you can also push it to saw down other mobs
Desert
- Wax can be used to defend against Scorpion missiles.
Ocean
- It's not very useful here, but can block crab.
Jungle
- Can block Wasp missiles.

PvE[]
PvP: Using[]
- In PvP this petal is not useful and is not recommended. The only use Wax can serve as here is a shield, but it will barely do anything to stop your opponent.
PvP: Against[]
Ant Hell
- Maybe Farming. Wax + Stick might be a good way to farm.
Sewers
- Maybe Farming. Might good at blocking Flies and Roaches cause they’re fast.

Trivia[]
- Wax is one of the petals that was added unmentioned in the changelog.
- This is the first and so far the only petal to have an "x" in its name.
- Upon addition, Wax was stackable, which led to lots of trolling using Wax to block corridors and paths.
- After 2 days of releasing, Wax was updated so it no longer stack, has 2x the original health and deal no damage.
- This petal is similar to Moon Rock, but it has no damage, less health but a faster spawn.
- This petal is tied with Air, Poo, and Bur for the shortest petal name (3 letters each.)
