Yggdrasil is one of the rarest and most iconic petals in florr.io. Its function consists of reviving dead players and healing them by 20% of their max health. Yggdrasils are dropped from Desert Ladybugs.
Appearance[]
Yggdrasil looks like a short, brown leaf with a darker brown outline and lines through the middle.
Function[]
Note: The "A + B" respawn format means that the petal takes A seconds to respawn and B seconds after respawning to do its special action/have its special action enabled.

Yggdrasil can revive a dead flower. It works like a Rose, but instead of healing players, it revives any defeated Flowers. The defeated flowers normally stay on the ground until they press continue on the death screen, but they can be revived with this petal. Lay it on a Flower, like a Mark, and they come back to life after a certain duration.
A player will have their health set to 20% of their max health when they are revived by it.

Strategy[]
Yggdrasil has the extremely powerful and useful ability of being able to revive a dead player. If a player dies, they will be left as a corpse, and they must travel back from the last checkpoint, which can take a long time and may be hard to do in some cases. For this reason, Yggdrasil is considered a necessity in squads.
Obtaining[]
- They can only be obtained by Shiny Ladybugs, which are very sought-after and very hard to find. You will need to deal with Mythic/Ultra Beetles, Scorpions, Sandstorms and Desert Centipedes while looking for them.
- Shiny Ladybugs are usually greeded for Yggdrasil if it is a Legendary or above.
Garden
- Teammates should crowd around the corpse since there is a range for the effect of Yggdrasil.
- Do not revive corpses that have mobs on top of them, as they could possibly die again.
- Revive teammates immediately after they die, especially if they themselves have a Yggdrasil so they can revive you as well when you die.
- If you are being chased by a hornet swarm, use jelly and one Yggdrasil, and go to the corpse, and revive it. This, however, is a risky strategy since you can get killed by the hornets, or it may spawn inside of a missile, which is a problem.
Desert
- Use Webs or Pincers to slow down mobs so that they can be killed before they touch the corpse.
- Apart from that, the strategy is like garden.
Ocean
- Same as garden apart from the hornets.
Hel
Using[]
- Yggdrasil is fully useless in Hel, as you cannot squad there.
Against[]
- Yggdrasil is useless in Hel, so ignore it.
- Be warned that the opponent probably has other very good petals if they have a Yggdrasil.

Trivia[]
- The referred names for the Yggdrasil are "ygg", which is an abbreviated version of Yggdrasil, and "why gee gee" or "Eeeg", which is the pronunciation of the abbreviated term.
- Yggdrasil is one of the two petals to start at Legendary rarity, the others being Monstera.
- Common Yggdrasil used to exist thanks to Lasercat offering to wipe his inventory in exchange for it to M28. Unfortunately, M28 later took it away to have people see "someone really mad for losing a common petal".
- Yggdrasil used to be the rarest petal in the game when rarity is not taken into account, but has since been dethroned by the Square, the Moon Rock, the Nazar Amulet, Mimic and Mjölnir.
- Unique Yggdrasil is among the rarest, if not the rarest, of all individual petals. Unique Uranium, Unique Cutter (Digger drops), Unique Basic, Unique Third Eye, Unique Dark Mark, Unique Moon Rock, Unique Nazar Amulet, Unique Mimic, Mjölnir and Unique Square are mostly considered to be even rarer.
- Dark Mark acts like an Yggdrasil in Hel.
- Yggdrasil used to be easier to get from Legendary Shiny Ladybugs since they had a 15.3% chance to drop. However, the drop rate is now 9.8%.
- Players hunting the petal's best bet is Mythic or Ultra Shiny Ladybugs, which are practically guaranteed to drop the petal.
- Before Yggdrasil got reworked where it started to act like a mark, there was a 30 second cooldown for another revival.
- Yggdrasils could be placed down before January 2023. Players could be teleported and revived to the said location of Yggdrasil. After this, the Yggdrasil could no longer be placed to revive squad members and instead give the Yggdrasil to the dead player.
- According to one of the users in this wiki, the Super Yggdrasil used to sell a total of 200m stars, $50,000 in real money, and due to the research, this used to appear to be the 5th most expensive purchasble item in all of video game history. As of now, the Super Yggdrasil now only costs 75m stars, making it a 37.5% price drop.
